DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nCome n’ Try Boccia at Leopold Sportmans Club!\nCome and join us for Boccia! Ethan Horan from Boccia Australia has offered to host the South West Network for a Come n’ Try Boccia Day, on 23 September!\nAs you may have seen in the Paralympics, both Jamieson Leeson and Daniel Michel won silver medals in Boccia. Boccia is an indoor bowling game that requires strategy and accuracy rather than strength and is played socially and competitively. The object is to throw or use a ramp device to propel leather balls as close as possible to a white ball which serves as a target. The game can be played in pairs or in teams.\nWe shall start play at 11:30am in the function room at the Leopold Sportmans Club, followed by lunch at the same venue at 12.30pm.\nWe look forward to welcoming our regular members and hopefully meet some new faces too. Carers, family and friends are also welcome.
