Ethan Horan from Boccia Australia has offered to host a combined ‘Central West & Northern Network’ for a Come n’ Try Boccia Day on Wednesday, 14 October at the Red Energy Arena in Bendigo!\nBoccia is an indoor bowling game that requires strategy and accuracy rather than strength and is played socially and competitively. The object is to throw, or use an adaptive ramp device, to propel soft, light leather balls as close as possible to a white ball which serves as a target. The game can be played in pairs or in teams.\nWe shall start playing Boccia at 11:30am, followed by lunch at the Arena Bistro at 1.00pm.\nWe look forward to welcoming our regular members and hopefully meet some new faces too. Carers, family and friends are also welcome.
