DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for the Gippsland Network ‘Come n’ Try Boccia Day’ on August 14 – hosted by Boccia Australia’s Ethan Horan.\nEthan Horan from Boccia Australia is kindly hosting the Gippsland Network and we’re stoked to learn all about this very inclusive sport.\nAs you may have seen in the Paralympics, both Jamieson Leeson and Daniel Michel won silver medals in Boccia. Boccia is an indoor bowling game that requires strategy and accuracy rather than strength, and is played socially and competitively. The objective is to throw or use a ramp device to propel leather balls as close as possible to a white ball which serves as the target.
