DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for the Central West & Northern Network ‘Come n’ Try Boccia Day’ on 06 August – hosted by Boccia Australia’s Ethan Horan.\nEthan Horan from Boccia Australia is kindly hosting the Central West & Northern Network and we’re stoked to learn all about this very inclusive sport.\nAs you may have seen in the Paralympics, both Jamieson Leeson and Daniel Michel won silver medals in Boccia. Boccia is an indoor bowling game that requires strategy and accuracy rather than strength, and is played socially and competitively. The objective is to throw or use a ramp device to propel leather balls as close as possible to a white ball which serves as the target.
