You are warmly invited to attend our next Family & Friends Support Group (FSG) for people with spinal cord injury.

Date: Tuesday, 18 August

Time: 10.30am – 12.00pm

Location: Online via Zoom or in person at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre (Spinal Therapy Area).

The group provides a supportive and welcoming space for family members and friends, to connect with others, share experiences, ask questions, and learn from people who understand the journey of living with a spinal injury. The session will be facilitated by Jenny Koadlow (Clinical Psychologist) and Nazim Erdem (Practice Leader).

Who is the Family & Friends Support Group for? The group is for family members, friends, partners, carers and supporters of people living with spinal cord injury.

Do I need to attend every session? No. You are welcome to attend any session that suits your needs and availability.

Can I join Online? Yes. You can participate via Zoom from anywhere or attend in person at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre.

What topics are discussed? Topics vary and may include adjustment to injury, relationships, wellbeing, navigating support services, caregiving challenges, and sharing practical experiences with others in similar situations.

Is there a cost to attend? No. Participation is free.
